CHARLESTON – In a continuing effort to fully represent the interests of West Virginia women, the 21 members of the House of Delegates Women’s Caucus will meet weekly during the 2013 regular session.

“We believe by working together, the women serving in the House can better identify issues that directly affect women and pursue legislation,” said Delegate Linda Phillips, D-Wyoming.

Delegate Phillips and Delegate Ruth Rowan, R-Hampshire, were selected to chair the caucus jointly.

“This is a bipartisan effort,” Delegate Rowan noted. “We all share in a desire to help West Virginia women succeed and thrive.”
