A BILL to repeal §24-3-1b of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to locomotive crew size.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 3.  DUTIES AND PRIVILEGES OF PUBLIC UTILITIES SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS OF COMMISSION.

§1. Repeal of section relating to locomotive crew size.

That §24-3-1b of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, is hereby repealed.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to strike the code section regarding locomotive power units and helper units.  Court decisions have rendered this section moot.
