A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Athletic Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to administrative rules of the West Virginia State Athletic Commission.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:

ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Athletic Commission.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 24, 2016, authorized under the authority of section twenty-four, article five-a, chapter twenty-nine of this code, modified by the Athletic Commission to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on December 20, 2016, relating to the Athletic Commission (Administrative Rules of the West Virginia State Athletic Commission, 177 CSR 01), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Athletic Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Administrative Rules of the West Virginia State Athletic Commission.
