SIXTY-SEVENTH DAY

[Mr. Speaker, Mr. Thompson, in the Chair]



The House of Delegates met at 11:00 a.m., and was called to order by the Honorable Richard Thompson, Speaker.
Prayer was offered and the House was led in recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.
The roll being called (Roll No. 532), and 87 members having answered to their names, the Speaker declared the presence of a quorum.
The Clerk proceeded to read the Journal of Friday, March 14, 2008, being the first order of business, when the further reading thereof was dispensed with and the same approved.
At 11:17 a..m., the Clerk announced the availability in his office of the report of the Committee of Conference on Com. Sub. for S. B. 150, Budget Bill, making appropriations of public money out of the treasury in accordance with section fifty-one, article six of the Constitution.
Leaves of Absence

At the request of Delegate DeLong, and by unanimous consent, leaves of absence for the day were granted Delegates Beach, Cann, Frederick, Hutchins, Manchin, Michael, Miley, Reynolds, Schadler, Shook, Staggers, Stalnaker and Webster.
At 11:21 a.m., the House of Delegates adjourned until 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 16, 2008.
