            Delegate Shott moved to amend the Committee Substitute on page 43, line 44, after the words “being provided” by removing the semi-colon, inserting a period, and thereafter inserting the words

“Waiting rooms for designated patient care or mental-counselling areas may be considered a designated area.  This prohibition includes not only traditional patient care facilities, but also research labs and other research areas where and when, as part of a research program, patient care is delivered by or under the supervision or direction of a licensed health care provider;”
