The Select Committee on Tourism & Economic Diversification moved to amend the bill on page 2, section 3(d), line 13, after the word “credit” by striking out the words “for the equivalent amount of the West Virginia payroll tax that the call center pays, and the call center shall be taxed as a Class 2 property” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “equal to the difference between their annual real property taxes paid on the development site and the amount they would have paid if the development site had been taxed as Class 2 property.”;

And,

On page 3, section 4(a), line 4, after the word “credit,” by striking the words “, and such investment shall be taxed as a Class 2 property” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “equal to the difference between their annual real property taxes paid on the development site and the amount they would have paid if the development site had been taxed as Class 2 property.”
