A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §18B-14-12, relating to prohibiting colleges and universities in West Virginia from requiring the COVID-19 vaccine or booster shots associated with the COVID-19 vaccine as a prerequisite for attending in-person classes.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 14. MISCELLANEOUS.
§18B-14-12. COVID-19 vaccines and boosters as prerequisite for attendance prohibited.
No college or university in West Virginia may require a student to take the COVID-19 vaccine, or booster shot associated with the COVID-19 vaccine, as a prerequisite for attending in-person classes.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to prohibit colleges and universities in West Virginia from requiring the COVID-19 vaccine or associated booster shot as a prerequisite for attending in-person class.
