A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Auditor to promulgate a legislative rule relating to procedure for local levying bodies to apply for permission to extend time to meet as levying body.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 9. Authorization for Miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

§64-9-1. Auditor.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on January 3, 2022, authorized under the authority of §11-8-9 of this code, modified by the Auditor to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on January 10, 2022, relating to the Auditor (Procedure for Local Levying Bodies to Apply for Permission to Extend Time to Meet as Levying Body, 155 CSR 08), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Auditor to promulgate a legislative rule relating to Procedure for Local Levying Bodies to Apply for Permission to Extend Time to Meet as Levying Body.
