Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
All high school equivalency exams (e.g. GED) are paid for by state funds, this would not create a need for additional exams but potentially for fewer. The cost of the alternate exam (nationally recognized college admittance exam) is an expense that is at the cost of the student/parent and not the state.
Therefore, this Bill would not require additional state resources to implement.
