Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Senate Bill 386, if enacted, would provide flexibility to West Virginia University and the West Virginia University Institute of Technology to relocate the West Virginia University Institute of Technology, and to facilitate collaboration between four-year institutions serving southern West Virginia. No additional costs are associated with the increased flexibility provided by this legislation. Although additional costs will be incurred as a result of the relocation, WVU has not requested additional state appropriations to cover these costs.
