HB 4182 if enacted would authorize additional tuition charges for undergraduates taking more than sixteen credit hours per semester, and for graduate students taking more than twelve credit hours per semester. For Higher Education Policy Commission institutions, It is estimated that revenues would increase about $37.7 million or 5.67% over the estimated $664.4 million received from tuition and fee revenues. It is estimated that revenues would increase about $1.0 million or 1.78% for Community and Technical Colleges. The Percent increases range from 3.19% to 9.87% with a 5.07% median for the Higher Education Policy Commission institutions and from .89% to 4.52% with a 1.31% median for the Community and Technical Colleges.
