The proposed legislation requires the West Virginia Division of Highways (DOH)Commissioner to determine how a modern highway from Pikeville, Kentucky to Beckley, West Virginia can best be funded and constructed. As per the legislation, the DOH would provide support services for any work being proposed anticipated the cost no more than $50,000.

Memorandum
The proposed legislation provides for the Commissioner of Highways to determine the best way to fund and construct the Mountain Parkway Expansion. The total estimated cost is estimated at $50,000.
