Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The West Virginia Division of Highways (DOH)Cabell County Route 58/2 is identified in the proposed SCR7 as being officially named Calvary Lane, extends 0.10 miles from its intersection with County Route 58, with a volume of 53 vehicles per day.
The DOH is always concerned with proposals that add an honorary name to County Routes as they each already have an official name. The concern is regarding confusion with respect to emergency response (fire, EMS, police) to a route that has an official name through its County 911 and an honorary name through the Legislature.
