Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
Contracting for technical specialized support for homeland defense and homeland security within existing state and federal appropriations. All contracts will be executed out of the existing budget for the Adjutant General’s office and will not have a fiscal impact to the State. It is anticipated that this bill will reduce overhead costs associated with contracting services, which will provide better efficiency and improved delivery of services to the State. This will allow for more dollars to be spent in West Virginia as opposed to contract overhead.
