Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):


Increase in personal services for judges and staff in intermediate appellate court. Asset costs in first year reflect start-up costs such as technology, furniture, and equipment. Current expenses are on-going costs of operating appellate court. These calculations are based on a single, three-judge panel and the staff to support operations of the Intermediate Court of Appeals.
