The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) is unable to determine if there is a cost to the State as a result of the proposed legislation applicable to other state agencies, including the WV State Tax Department and the WV State Treasurer's Office.

The provisions of this proposed legislation do not apply to ACE programs operated by county board of education career and technical centers. In addition, there are currently no students enrolled in county board of education career and technical centers who are working toward completion of apprenticeship programs as described in the proposed legislation.
