Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to provide single parents attempting to accomplish reentering the workforce, obtaining a degree, or securing workforce training with available resources that would facilitate that effort.
The Bureau for Family Assistance currently has a grant with United Way for the operation of the 211 information and referral hotline, which can be utilized by single parents or any citizen of WV to obtain a list of available services.
The Department anticipates that any additional costs for printing and mailing is anticipated to be minimal and therefore could be covered with current funding.
