Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
There is no additional cost to the West Virginia Board of Education (State Board) for this proposed legislation as the proposed legislation would not necessitate additional meetings of the State Board or cause a need for additional State Board staff. Currently, the State Board’s operating budget is for administrative costs and normal operations. However, if unanticipated additional costs to the State Board would arise as a result of the proposed legislation, the State Board’s administrative budget would not be sufficient.
