The purpose of this bill is to include postpartum depression, anxiety, psychosis, and obsessive-compulsive disorders in existing public health programs. The Department anticipates no fiscal impact as a result of this legislation as these services are already provided.

Memorandum


The Department expects to collaborate with the Department of Health as needed, with no fiscal impact. Any time spent in consultation or providing assistance can be absorbed by existing staff or additional policy language, neither of wihich results in additional cost.
