Fiscal Note Summary
Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
SB618 would allow for a reduced property appraisal for corporations owning farm property that produces a minimum of $20,000 of agricultural products annually. As the Department of Agriculture would not be responsible for administering such appraisals and subsequent collection of tax related to this proposed legislation, the bill would not have an impact on revenues and expenses of the Department of Agriculture.
