Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
We have reviewed the provisions of the proposed legislation and we are unable to identify any aspects of the Bill which would result in any additional costs for the West Virginia State Auditor’s Office. Since the proposed legislation primarily impacts the operations of the West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office, we would defer to the judgment of the Treasurer as to whether the Bill’s impacts would result in additional revenues to the State and/or additional costs, either leading to or upon implementation of the legislation should it become law.
