Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The past three years of revenues collected under the cap were compared with projected revenues without the cap. The comparison indicated an approximate $650,000 increase in revenue without the cap. A 1% increase in annual funds was included to account for new wells in 2027 and 2028.
FY2026 has already been billed, so no results of passage of HB4109 would be realized until FY2027.
