The Division of Multimodal Transportation Facilities (DMTF) anticipates an unknown increase in airplane fuel tax collections associated with this bill because of the potential for an increase in hangar space. The Division anticipates this will incentivize the purchase of airplane fuel in WV. The Department of Revenue may be able to provide a detailed fiscal note on this bill.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
The Division of Multimodal Transportation Facilities (DMTF) estimates that 100 labor hours at $32/hour would be needed to administer the pilot program each year. The DMTF recently hired a Transportation Administrator to oversee programs of similar size within the Division.
