Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):


The estimated loss in revenue of $2,417 from the proposed legislation was calculated from the elimination of Temporary Permits and Podiatric Medical Assistant Permits. In FY 2025, the number of temporary applications processed was 41 at a cost of $37 each totaling $1,517. The number of current Podiatric Medical Assistant Permits is 15, multiplied by the renewal application fee of $60 equals $900 totaling $2,417. This is less than 1% impact.



Memorandum


To give the Legislators a perspective on the estimated revenue impact for the Medical Imaging Board, in FY 2025 the total revenue received from licensing application fees was $248,578. This is less than 1% impact.
