Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to remove personal care services and Intellectual development disabilities services from certificate of need.
This bill will exempt two healthcare services, personal care and IDD, from requiring a certificate of need or determination of review. Certificate of need and Determination of review applications have certain fees associated to them which help fund the agency. These fees are annualized at $24,100 which would not be received upon passage of the bill.

The revenue which will not be received is based on the amount of money collected from the application fees for these service lines in the prior year. Based upon the trends this number is typical for these two lines.
