Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
As it relates to the State Fire Marshal's Office; the passage of this bill would result in a gain of revenue but, it will also place an increase in personal services, expenditures, and assets on the agency for inspection and permitting of numerous facilities on a regular basis; for providing public education and awareness to help and promote safety throughout the state. The agency would also incur a necessary increase to provide the necessary regulatory authority for this new program.
