Senate Bill 852, if enacted, would amend the regulation of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) by providing an exemption as to when a pharmacy benefit manager may reimburse a pharmacy or pharmacist for a prescription drug or pharmacy service for an amount less than the national average if certain requirements occur. SB852 would have no fiscal impact on the WVOIC.
