Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to allow motorboats to idle around the lake at no wake speed. The Law Enforcement Section is responsible for patrolling the lake to enforce this provision.
No appropriations are contained within the bill so it is assumed that existing revenue sources will need to be utilized.

We anticipate a minimum of extra boat patrols during the 6-month boating season April through September.
Personal Services:
2 boat patrols per month during the boating season
8 hours per patrol X 12patrols X$33.6625/hour= $3,231.60
Current Expenses:
Mileage to tow boat 80-mile round trip
80 miles X 12 patrols *$0.58/mile= $556.80
