This bill will increase the amount of compensation to each member of the commission by $500 each year for attending commission meetings.
It will also create a new expense of $150 for each event that a commissioner performs work at an event with a collective total of $3,000 per year.

Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):
Please explain increases and decreases in personal services, current expenses, repairs and alterations, assets, other costs and revenues, including assumptions and data sources and delineation between start-up and ongoing costs. Please also include a long-range schedule of costs and revenues if fiscal impact is expected to vary in future years.
The increase to personal services is a result of the proposed increase of $150 for each commissioner that attends a meeting of the commission, which results in an increase of $2,500 each year, and the proposed new expense of $150 to each commissioner who performs work at each event up to a collective total of $3,000.
The two proposed changes would result in a total of $5,500 each year.
