The provisions of this bill will require the WVDE to incur a one-time cost to create standards and a final examination for the course.
Memorandum
Both Economic and Personal Finance standards are currently integrated into other courses. Currently, the WVDE does not require economic credits as a graduation requirement; therefore, passage of this bill would require rearranging or increasing graduation requirements by half a credit.
