The purpose of this bill is to allow a retired bus operator, under certain specified conditions, to accept employment as a critical need substitute bus operator for an unlimited number of days each fiscal year without affecting the monthly retirement benefit to which the retirant is otherwise entitled.
No additional appropriations for our agency would be required from the enactment of this legislation.
