Memorandum

The measure creates an opportunity for the Secretary of State's Office to apply for a sub-grant of new HAVA funds appropriated to the State for use consistent with state and federal laws to further advance federal elections that are held at the County level, which the fund is currently is specific to County applicants only. There will be no fiscal impact with the creation of the opportunity at the Agency level.
