Explanation of above estimates (including long-range effect):


This bill will have no increase in costs or revenue for the Office of Technology. The bill requires all state and local government entities, as well as higher education institutions, to adopt security standards developed by the Chief Information Security Officer related to high-risk technology platforms and products. Currently, the standard is applied to executive branch entities.
