Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill is to extend the validity of the commercial driver's license instruction permit from six months to one year.
The Division anticipates a reduction of Commercial Driver’s license instruction permit renewal of 750 per year. There is a fee of $7.50 per renewal producing a total revenue decline of $5,625 (750 X $7.50).
