Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
The purpose of this bill concerns the suspension or revocation of driver’s licenses. This bill makes legislative findings, establishes a driver’s license restoration program, permits waiving certain reinstatement requirements to restore driving privileges, and reduces the period for suspension, upon receipt of notice of driving while suspended for offenses other than driving under the influence, from 90 days to 30 days.
