For those classified exempt employees throughout the Department of Administration, it is anticipated the cost to provide the stated notice would be nominal, if anything, as it appears the notice could be provided electronically.
Memorandum
The Division of Personnel covers classified employees only. It is presumed that the words "civil service exempt" in the bill refer to classified exempt employees, and therefore the proposed policy would not have any broad effect on the Division of Personnel. The Division of Personnel recommends an amendment to the language to change "civil service exempt" to "classified exempt" for clarity.
