Memorandum
Please identify any areas of vagueness, technical defects, reasons a bill would not have a fiscal impact, and/or any special issues not captured elsewhere on this form.
This bill provides a process for enforcement of violations of the state one-call laws by forming a damage prevention enforcement board to oversee the process of enforcing state one call laws. As proposed, this program will be funded through fines issued and retained by the board, as well as additional Federal and other grant monies that may be available to the board. Any work performed by the PSC will be reimbursed by the board.
