Memorandum

Please identify any areas of vagueness, technical defects, reasons a bill would not have a fiscal impact, and/or any special issues not captured elsewhere on this form. There is an error on this proposed legislation. Page 3 line 57 should read $43,418 instead of $43,414 The above estimates reflect only the increase over the enrolled version of SB 267. The above estimates do not include the increase in costs (Approximately $91,332) for the projected 60 person cadet class included in the Governor's proposed budget (General Revenue 0453-52100). This fiscal note also excludes the civilian employees of the West Virginia State Police whose salaries are not set by code.
