Effect this measure will have on costs and revenues of state government.
This bill would have a positive fiscal impact on the WV Division of Corrections & Rehabilitation by allowing the DCR to utilize best value procurement thereby allowing the agency to receive the most cost effective services and contracts. The bill would also generate revenue by allowing the agency to sell off surplus property and reinvest that money into critical needs.
