A BILL to amend and reenact section one, article seven-a, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to renaming the state teachers retirement system.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section one, article seven-a, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 7A. EDUCATION EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM.

§18-7A-1. Establishment of retirement system.

A retirement system to be known as the "state teachers education employees retirement system" is hereby established for the purpose of providing retirement allowances for the teachers of West Virginia. At all times herein mentioned in this article, the "state teachers retirement system" shall mean the "education
employees retirement system."


NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to rename the "state teachers retirement system" to the "education employees retirement system."
