A BILL to amend and reenact section one, article six, chapter sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to authorizing the fire commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the state fire code.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That section one, article six, chapter sixty-four of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF MILITARY AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.

§64-6-1. Fire commission.
(a) The legislative rule filed in the state register on the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred ninety-six, modified by the fire commission to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred ninety-six, relating to the fire commission (state building code, 87 CSR 4), is authorized.
(b) The legislative rule filed in the state register on the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, authorized under the authority of section five, article three, chapter twenty-nine, of this code, modified by the fire commission to meet the objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the state register on the twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, relating to the fire commission (state fire code, 87 CSR 1), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Fire Commission to promulgate a legislative rule relating to the State Fire Code.
