_____________
AN ACT making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out of
the treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an
unappropriated balance in the state fund, general revenue, to
the governor's office, account no. fund 0101, fiscal year
1997, organization 0100, all supplementing and amending the
appropriation for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven.
Whereas, The governor submitted to the Legislature the
executive budget document, dated February 12, 1997, which included
the statement of the state fund, general revenue, setting forth
therein the cash balances and investments as of July 1, 1996, and
further included the estimate of revenues for the fiscal year 1996- 97, less net appropriation balances forwarded and regular
appropriations for fiscal year 1996-97.
Whereas, It thus appears from the governor's executive budget
document there now remains an unappropriated balance in the state
treasury which is available for appropriation during the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred
ninety-seven;, therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
