A BILL to repeal §16-3-7, §16-3-8, §16-3-9, and §16-3-10 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to inflammation of the eyes of newborns.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

ARTICLE 7. PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF COMMUNICABLE AND OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES.

 

§16-3-7. Inflammation of the eyes of the newborn.

[Repealed.]

§16-3-8. Inflammation of the eyes of the newborn -- Duty of those assisting at childbirth to report cases; treatment.

[Repealed.]

§16-3-9. Inflammation of the eyes of the newborn -- Duties of local health officer.

[Repealed.]

§16-3-10. Inflammation of eyes of newborn -- Use of an appropriate medication as prophylactic.

[Repealed.]

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal the sections of code relating to the inflammation of the eyes of newborns.
