A BILL to repeal section one, article seven, chapter forty-nine
of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, relating to confidentiality of
juvenile records.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 7. GENERAL PROVISIONS.
§1. Repeal of section making juvenile records confidential.
Section one, article seven, chapter forty-nine of the code
of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, is hereby repealed.
NOTE: This bill repeals §49-7-1 that makes all juvenile
records confidential.
