The Committee on Government Organization moved to amend the bill on page 1, section 17a, by striking out all of lines 12 and 13, and inserting in lieu thereof the following: The county commission of each county shall allow each deputy sheriff to carry forward from one calendar year to the next a minimum of 30 days, and in its discretion, up to 60 days, of accrued vacation time.
