The Committee on Finance moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. House Joint Resolution 42—Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of West Virginia, amending section one-b, article X thereof, relating to homestead exemption increases; removing the maximum amount for a homestead exemption; creating a minimum homestead exemption; allowing the Legislature to raise the homestead exemption general law; numbering and designating such proposed amendment; and providing a summarized statement of the purpose of such proposed amendment.
