A BILL making a supplementary appropriation of public moneys out
of the treasury from the balance of moneys remaining as an
unappropriated balance in the state fund, general revenue,
for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one
thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, to the department of tax
and revenue, tax division, account no. fund 0407, fiscal
year 1997, organization 0702.
Whereas, There now remains an unappropriated balance in the
state treasury which is available for appropriation during the
fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-seven; therefore
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending the
thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, to
the department of tax and revenue, tax division, account no. fund 0407, fiscal year 1997, organization 0702, be supplemented and
amended by increasing the total appropriation by three million,
two hundred thousand dollars as follows:

The purpose of this bill is to supplement this account in
the budget act for the fiscal year ending the thirtieth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, by adding three
million, two hundred thousand dollars to the existing
appropriation for the department of tax and revenue, tax
division, account no. fund 0407, fiscal year 1997, organization
0702, to be used for the property tax electronic data processing
system network project automation project.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to fund upgrading the electronic data processing system network for property tax
administration.
