A BILL to amend and reenact §64-9-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to authorizing the Board of Funeral Service Examiners to promulgate a legislative rule relating to funeral director, embalmer, apprentice, courtesy card holders and funeral establishment requirements.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


ARTICLE 9. Authorization for miscellaneous agencies and boards to promulgate legislative rules.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:


§64-9-1. Board of Funeral Service Examiners.

The legislative rule filed in the State Register on August 26, 2020, authorized under the authority of §30-6-6 of this code, modified by the Board of Funeral Service Examiners to meet the objections of the Legislative Rule-Making Review Committee and refiled in the State Register on November 18, 2020, relating to the Board of Funeral Service Examiners (funeral director, embalmer, apprentice, courtesy card holders and funeral establishment requirements, 6 CSR 01), is authorized.

 

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of Funeral Service Examiners to promulgate a legislative rule relating to funeral director, embalmer, apprentice, courtesy card holders and funeral establishment requirements.
