A BILL to amend and reenact section twenty-eight, article twenty- nine-b, chapter sixteen of the code of West Virginia, one
thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to
continuing the health care authority.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section twenty-eight, article twenty-nine-b, chapter
sixteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 29B. HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY.
§16-29B-28. Termination date.
Pursuant to the provisions of section four, article ten,
chapter four of this code, the health care authority shall continue to exist until the first day of July,
one thousand nine hundred
ninety-nine two thousand five, to allow for a completion of an
audit by the joint committee on government operations.

(NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the Health Care
Authority until July 1, 2005, pursuant to the West Virginia Sunset
Law.
