A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated §2-2-14, relating to making the Holy Bible the official state book of West Virginia.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section, designated §2-2-14, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 2. LEGAL HOLIDAYS; SPECIAL MEMORIAL DAYS; CONSTRUCTION OF STATUTES; DEFINITIONS.
§2-2-14. Official state book.
The Holy Bible is hereby designated as the official state book of West Virginia.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to make the Holy Bible the official state book of West Virginia.
